He’s in love with the shape of… Heinz Ketchup!
Music superstar Ed Sheeran has been obsessed with the famed Pittsburgh-based ketchup brand for a while — he even got a bottle of the red stuff tattooed on his arm years ago.
Check it out on his left bicep in the Instagram photo below.
Luckily for ink fiend, it seems Heinz is obsessed with him right back: As of March 2nd, the company is dedicating a brand new ketchup bottle to the singer.
According to Perth Now, Heinz’s Australia division has created a “Limited Ed-ition” bottle of the condiment, with “Ed’s Perth Tomato Ketchup,” “Welcome to Perth,” and the dates of Sheeran’s two upcoming concerts in Perth (March 2nd and 3rd) written on the special label.
“We thought it would be nice to create something special for him to commemorate his Australian tour,” a spokesperson for Heinz said.
The company plans to present the Thinking Out Loud singer with the newly-created bottle before his first show in Perth on his Divide World Tour.
Sheeran himself hasn’t yet commented on the unique honor, but considering his love for the product, it’s safe to say he thinks the whole thing is pretty darn perfect.
